Hibiscus syriacus
A whole new look for Rose of Sharon! Large, single lavender flowers adorned with a lacy center create an anemone-like bloom. Beautiful for use in a mixed container or as a colorful hedge. Feel like you’re in the tropics with Rose of Sharon Satin® or Chiffon™ series.
Adaptable to most soils. Prune in late winter/early spring. Can be heavily pruned although this is usually unneccessary. Fertilize in spring; supplemental liquid fertilizer in summer may be needed.
I just love this plant. It has bloomed since I planted it in May and has not stopped. I even accidentally broke a branch off of it and it is still growing. I am looking forward to buying more in different colors as well as the same color for my yard. I have recommended this plant to several people. The flowers are so large and beautiful color. Very easy to grow.
