Hydrangea arborescens
A superb hydrangea with completely sterile, dome shaped flower heads comprised of fully doubled star-like flowers. May flop over under the weight of the flowers. Selected by Hayes Jackson of Anniston AL
May be pruned back in late winter to encourage strong new growth and flowering. Flower color is not affected by soil pH. Best in moist, well drained soil but adapts to most sites. May need part shade in warmer climates.
