A stately semi-evergreen viburnum noted for its dark green, rugose leaves and attractive red fruit in late summer. Best fruit set when pollinated with V. rhytidophyllum or V. lantana. Large, 4-8" creamy-yellow flowers in May. Introduced by the U.S. National Arboretum.
