Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrubs
Since 2004, Spring Meadow has been the sole licensee to select, develop, introduce, distribute, and market shrubs under the Proven Winners brand. Our line of 300+ unique flowering shrubs, vines, and evergreens allow growers and retailers to curate a selection that's tailored to their market, from native plants to niche varieties to those perfectly suited to both hot and cold climates.
Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Trees
Spring Meadow and Upshoot! are proud to announce Proven Winners ColorChoice Flowering Trees. New to the market in 2019 and to retail in 2020 and beyond, this growing line of ornamental trees for residential landscapes continues the brand promise of superior beauty and performance.
Boxwood Alternatives
The Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Boxwood Alternatives program includes evergreens that give a similar look, and are a similar size and shape as boxwood without the shortcomings.
Shrubs of the Year
What started out as a way to promote a particularly landscape-worthy shrub to the commerical market has grown to include Rose of The Year, Hydrangea of the Year, and Flowering Shrub of the Year, targeted to retail and consumer markets. The Shrubs of the Year enjoy extra promotion and special marketing materials to shine a spotlight on these noteworthy selections.
In Check™
The In Check designation will appear on tags of the following plants, alongside the common name, so it’s clear that these are varieties they can feel confident buying. After all, even if the species isn’t invasive in their area, no one wants to deal with extra seedlings if they can help it, so they also appeal to those seeking low-maintenance landscaping.
Deer Proof®
The Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Deer Proof™ program adds an insignia to containers and tags of the species least likely to be damaged by deer. This placement makes these plants a clear choice for long-lasting landscaping that provides beauty and peace of mind.
