Description

Improved variegated Sambucus. Instant Karma® is gonna get you! This showy new variegated elder has attractive bluish-green leaves, variegated with a neat leaf margin that starts out gold in spring and changes to creamy white as the season progresses. Large, lacy, white flowers in early summer add to the display. A major improvement over older variegated Sambucus varieties.

Blooms on old wood. However, pruning after bloom will remove the potential for fruit to set.

Uses

Grow either as a shrub or cut it back every year and make it into a bold perennial. Outstanding as a specimen, but also good in groupings and masses, perennial and shrub borders, as a specimen or screen.

Growing Tips
