Description

'Danica' arborvitae is best described as a dwarf version globe Emerald arborvitae ('Smargd'). It has the same glossy, emerald-green foliage as Emerald Green, and is considered one of the best dwarf globe arborvitae.

Adaptable in terms of pH; best growth is in moderately moist, cool, fertile soils.

Pruning

Does not strictly require pruning, though it does tolerate it well. Prune in spring before new growth begins.
