Free-flowering, variegated 'Summer Ice' daphne bears spicy-sweet flowers that start pink and open white. Selected by Robert Ticknor, Ph.D, now retired from the North Willamette Research and Extension Center in Oregon.

Growing Tips

Daphne is rather notorious for being a finicky, demanding plant. As such, plant only in acidic soils with a good amount of organic matter. Site permanently: it resents transplanting.
