Horticulture Industry Magazine Selects Dr. Judson LeCompte to Prestigious 40 Under 40 Class

GPN (Greenhouse Product News), a leading business publication for horticulture professionals, recently named Spring Meadow Nursery’s Dr. Judson LeCompte as an honoree in its 40 Under 40 Class of 2021.

Nominated by his industry peers, Dr. LeCompte is one of 40 trailblazers under the age of 40 who exemplifies superior leadership, creativity, innovative thinking, excellence, and compassion in and outside the horticulture field.

A rising star in the horticulture field, Dr. LeCompte relocated from Texas to Michigan’s Spring Meadow Nursery in April 2020 to fill the newly created Product Development Assistant Manager role. Despite the myriad challenges that 2020 brought, Judson hit the ground running, using his academia and industry experience to introduce new ideas and strategies to strengthen an already expansive nursery operation. Judson is eager to share his expertise, especially in southern genetics, with Spring Meadow’s staff and customers, and has already proved to be an outstanding spokesperson for Proven Winners® ColorChoice® shrubs.
