Description

Compact pearl-bush. The large white blooms of Snow Day® Surprise pearl-bush cover the plant for a stunning spring display. This cultivar boasts a neater, more compact habit and strong, vigorous growth. Pearl-bush gets its name from the pure white, perfectly spherical flower buds which resemble pearls.

Pruning

Regular pruning is not required. Blooms on old wood, so any pruning should be done immediately after spring bloom.

Growing Tips

May be grown as a shrub or small tree. Best flowering and leaf color in full sun, but will perform well in lightly shaded conditions.
