Proven Winners® ColorChoice® REMINISCENT® Rose Collection Earns Second Major U.S. Award

The Proven Winners® ColorChoice® REMINISCENT® rose collection has once again proven its excellence, earning a second major U.S. honor.

American Garden Rose Selections (AGRS) recently announced its 2026 trial results, naming REMINISCENT® Pink shrub rose among nine varieties to receive the distinction of Regional Award Winner. In addition, AGRS chose one rose for the notable Fragrance Award and this honor was also bestowed upon REMINISCENT® Pink rose.

This recognition marks the second U.S. award for the REMINISCENT rose series. Earlier this year, REMINISCENT Coral rose earned a 2026 Local Artist Award from the American Rose Trials for Sustainability (A.R.T.S.) program.

All roses entered into the AGRS program are evaluated for two years across six distinct geographical regions, each containing two test gardens. Evaluation criteria include vigor, foliage proportion, plant habit, flowering effect, rebloom habit, bloom form, bloom longevity, fragrance, and hardiness.

Bred by Pheno Geno and introduced by Spring Meadow Nursery for the Proven Winners ColorChoice rose collection, REMINISCENT Pink rose grows 3–4 feet tall and 2 feet wide and is hardy to USDA Zone 4. This reblooming variety features large clusters of full, old-fashioned, garden-style flowers in a soft, light pink hue.
