Spring Meadow - Proven Winners® scholarships awarded to eight students

Spring Meadow Nursery is proud to announce the 2026 recipients of its annual horticulture scholarships, awarded in partnership with the Horticultural Research Institute (HRI). This scholarship program recognizes students who are dedicated to advancing the horticulture industry, honoring both their academic achievements and their commitment to building a career in the field.

This year’s scholarship recipients are Nathan Sims from the Universty of Rhode Island, Joseph Romano from the University of Delaware, Ryan Rey from the University of Florida, Stacey Thorne from the Lake Washington Institute of Technology, Greg Marshall from NC State University, Jesse Potts from the University of Florida, Tanner Hamerlin from the University of Georgia, and Jenna Hoffman from Iowa State University.These talented students represent the next generation of horticulture professionals, excelling in their academic programs and demonstrating a passion for innovation, sustainability, and industry growth.

As part of the scholarship experience, Spring Meadow Nursery welcomes its scholarship winners to tour their facilities during the applicable growing season.
