Understanding the need for outstanding new woody ornamentals for the retail and landscape markets, Spring Meadow has maintained an internal R & D program practically since our beginning. Our staff plant breeders are responsible for some of our best-known introductions, including Bloomerang^® lilac, Fire Light^® hydrangea, and Summer Wine^® ninebark. 

Our marketing and R & D departments work closely together so that we can collaborate on what needs there exist in the market and how we can position new varieties that we've developed.
