Description

Sometimes, you just get lucky, and that's what happened when we found this improved, more richly-colored seedling of Lavender Chiffon® plant growing near the nursery entrance. Dark Lavender Chiffon® rose of Sharon’s striking medium purple blooms outshine the pale purple flowers of the original, making it an obvious replacement. An abundance of these lovely ruffled anemone-like blooms dot this Hibiscus syriacus in summer. Its taller-than-wide habit makes Dark Lavender Chiffon® rose of Sharon perfect for hedging, screening, or mixed borders. Dark Lavender Chiffon® is tolerant of deer, heat, and salt.
