Description

Introduced from China, Heptacodium miconioides has developed a devoted fan base among plant geeks and designers. A large arching shrub or small tree with glossy dark green leaves, exfoliating bark, and fragrant creamy-white late summer flowers. Its best attribute is its persistent, showy, reddish-pink sepals which are effective from October to November.
