Soil

Moist, well drained soils are best, but crapemyrtle is widely adaptable, including to compacted urban soils.

Pruning

Blooms on new wood. Dwarf habit requires little pruning. In colder climates, remove any dead wood in spring, after the new growth has begun to emerge.

Uses

Specimen; containers; foundation plantings; mixed borders/perennial gardens.

Growing Tips

Infinitini® crapemyrtles have proven hardy in USDA zone 6a. They may die back to the ground in cold climates; however, they resprout from the ground and bloom abundantly in late summer.
