Pruning

Pruning not required in cold climates, except to remove any winter damaged wood if present. In warm climates, plants can be thinned in early spring, as new growth begins to emerge.

Growing Tips

Site in a protected area and mulch well in colder areas. Loves sunny, dry conditions. Plants can also be grown in pots and stored on the dry side over winter. Figs are ready to harvest when they are soft and sweet.
