Description

Persian Spire Parrotia is a narrow, upright Ironwood tree, reaching 25 feet tall but only 8–10 feet wide—perfect for tight spaces or street plantings. Its foliage emerges purple in spring, shifting to green with purple margins, matures to deep green in summer, and bursts into yellow, red, orange, and burgundy in fall. Early spring brings clusters of crimson-red stamens for added interest. This low-maintenance tree thrives in full sun and moist, well-drained soil, making a striking statement in any landscape.
