Description

Red and pink new growth turns green with pink edges and splashes, giving Pink Marble® photinia its moniker. Summer new growth is bronze with pink edges; mature foliage is medium green with distinct bright white markings. This extraordinary evergreen adds lots of color to landscapes.

Moist well drained soils. Not tolerant of wet conditions.

Pruning

May be pruned hard to maintain size or shape. Blooms on old wood - flowers are often removed on pruned plants, but since it is grown primarily for its foliage, this isn't a huge loss.
