Description

'Red Cushion' firethorn is covered with white flowers and spring, and produces a heavy crop of berries in fall. Fruit often persists through the winter. This cultivar shows excellent resistance to fire blight, which is a common problem with firethorn. Though thorny, it's a tidy plant with tight branching and showy, dark red fall fruit.
