Meet the Breeder
- Early blooming
The Sparky series of clematis was selected with growers and gardeners in mind: irresistibly unique flowers that bloom in early spring so are easy to ship in bloom for peak spring sales. Sparky Purple clematis is noted for its large, pinwheel-like flowers made up of narrow, reflect petals. It's no wonder this variety has made a splash in Europe under the name Octopus! The Sparky series offers three lovely colors, all easy to grow in the nursery and the garden, with a long bloom time, delicate foliage, and vigorous, vining growth.
