Description

Selected especially for its fruit production, 'Viking' aronia also has superb red autumn foliage. The attractive white flowers appear earlier in spring than other aronia, and the large attractive black fruit typically persists through winter if not harvested. Developed in Europe as an orchard plant, its vitamin-rich fruit is said to be good for jellies and syrup. Very adaptable.
