This variety has been replaced by Azurri Blue Satin® rose of Sharon, which has an even better blue flower color and is sterile, eliminating the problem of nuisance seedlings. Superior to 'Blue Bird', which is a weak growing plant, Blue Satin® is a strong growing, uniform variety with rich color.
