Description

A cross between New Jersey tea and more tender ceanothus species, Marie Rose™ ceanothus graces early summer with clusters of foamy pink blooms. It is an extremely drought tolerant plant that will struggle in poorly drained or frequently irrigated soils.

Soil

Thrives in rocky, dry soils - good drainage is a must.

Pruning

Little pruning is required; prune after blooming if desired, though this will remove the attractive red seedheads. Avoid cutting into thick stems unless you are removing them entirely.
