Description

Finally, David viburnums aren't just for the Pacific Northwest anymore! Introducing Yin® - an elegant, compact evergreen viburnum hybrid between V. davidii x V. propinquum that combines the beauty of David viburnum with the heat tolerance of Chinese viburnum. Thick, glossy, three veined, bluish-green leaves and showy round clusters of white spring flowers. The flowers are followed by bright blue berries if pollinated by Yang® viburnum.

Soil

Best in moist but well-drained soils. Tolerates acidic to slightly alkaline (pH 8.0) conditions.

Pruning

Regular pruning and trimming is not needed and not recommended. Branches can be selectively pruned as needed.

Uses

Handsome low-growing evergreen for edging, ground cover, and slopes. Nice in woodland gardens.
