- Description
Lo & Behold® 'Blue Chip Jr.' butterfly bush improves on the original in many ways: smaller size, less brittle stems, attractive silver-green foliage, and blooms weeks earlier than other buddleia. The blue flowers continue to bloom from early summer well through fall without the need for deadheading. This fast-growing little buddleia will tuck into really any garden, perfect for mass plantings, containers, or perennial gardens. Tolerant of drought, heat, deer, and rabbits, this butterfly bush is an easy-care option for any garden or landscape. Lo & Behold® ‘Blue Chip Jr.’ Buddleia is non-invasive and approved for sale in Oregon.

General Care
Soil
Good drainage is essential. The combination of wet soil and cold temperatures is particularly detrimental.Pruning
Prune only after new growth emerges in spring. Cut back to just above a set of large, healthy buds.Uses
All buddleia in the Lo & Behold® series are especially suited to groundcover and edging, as well as being incorporated into gardens, borders, and foundation plantings.Growing Tips
Plant in full sun for best flowering. Deadheading not required for continuous bloom. In clay soils, plant a bit higher than ground level to divert moisture away from the center of the plant.Features: Attracts pollinators, Deer resistant, Drought tolerant, Reblooming, Dwarf, Fragrant, Heat tolerant, Non-invasive, Award winner
