Description

Not your typical North American native shrub! Paisley Pup doghobble (Leucothoe fontanesiana) is a handsome broadleaf evergreen with foliage that blazes an array of pin, green, cream, white, bronze, and yellow hues. Racemes of fragrant white flowers dangle elegantly from the slender, arching stems, enticing pollinators. Its versatile low habit and outstanding deer resistance, as well as shade tolerance, make this a problem-solving plant with aplomb.
