Description

With its big, bold, blue-green foliage and bronze new growth, this exceptionally handsome and sophisticated evergreen is perfectly suited to Southern gardens and landscapes. It makes an appealing and ideal replacement for larger boxwoods or hollies, working well as a low hedge or foundation plant, plus it makes an outstanding container. Late winter brings unusual red flowers for a touch of color. Buckhead Bold distylium was developed by Dr. Donglin Zhang at the University of Georgia.
